In the heart of a dense and colorful 25000 sq. m. forest, where silent nature accompanies the peaceful awakenings of our guests, lies La Fornace di Alessandria: a green retreat for quiet weekends in Monferrato. Here, among cherry and ash trees, among red oaks and junipers you will forget that you are only 5 minutes from the city center.
Where our facility is located today, in 1820 the kiln was built, which for more than a century contributed to the growth of the city of Alexandria with its brick production. In the late 1800s the farm was added, which is still active today in the production of alfalfa, medicinal herbs, wheat and corn.

Aesthetics and comfort
In 2014, the original chimney, which at 34 meters towers over the entire area, was completely restored, as were all parts of the farmhouse, which underwent a careful redevelopment that preserved its innate architecture.
Now the old colonial house houses spacious rooms furnished in a modern style with warm colors, natural elements and materials, recalling the essence of the farmstead and the link between present and past.
The barn has been repurposed as a beautiful hall for cultural and educational events, and the outdoor porch is its natural extension during the warm season.
We have thought of everything down to the smallest detail in our farmhouse. We don't want it to be a place like many others, where you can spend just a couple of nights, but a real space where people can meet, have fun, relax, share, work, explore. We are sustainable
Respect for and preservation of the environment is a key aspect in the management of La Fornace facility. All the energy used to power it comes only from renewable sources. We do not like pollution and waste: for the lighting of all the rooms we use only low-consumption LED lamps.
We use environmentally friendly detergents and have no dryers. But we have plenty of open space to dry laundry naturally in the air and sun.
